At this point in time, I expect to be C-in-C at Ducal.

So, I will need staffing. Lots of Staffing!

And, I'd like a Senior to Volunteer to be CinC for the rest of the event, after
I leave (hopefully) Sunday nite, after the Big Auction. There'll be no more
Gate and the event will be winding down, but Ducal won't close until Monday
around 6PM. So, it should be easy, but at Ducal you never know. ;-)

Also I'll be there to give training if anyone wants/needs it.

Baron Wulfstan Darroldson, OP

Greetings Baron Wulfstan Darroldson

I will be happy to volunteer my services. I am not as
yet a Senior Constable (have a way to go yet), but
would be glad to help in any fashion you may need. I
will not be on site until around 9pm or so on Friday
night.

Contact me with what you would like to have me do for
the event.

Show up, offer to help (likely Gate work), and accept some training. How does
that sound?

Yes I still don't have the new waivers from the exchequer but I will send them
to you so you can print some out. When you print them out use a sheet that
already has the event name and date on the top filled in. One less thing to do
there.
William of Silver Desert is going to help us and he will have the seed money.

Gwen the Kingdom Exchequer is going to be there early with the seed and the new
waiver forms so just make the non member minor waivers.
If you haven't sent her your exchequer warrant and a photocopy of your drivers
lience and SCA member card bring it with you and give it to her.

When did the waiver form change? Do we have the new form available to us?

The "new waiver" is undergoing destructive stress testing right now in
Cynagua. We're also, apparently, going to give it a try at Purg. No
worries yet....but it DOES seem to improve Gate-Count accuracy at the end of
the event. And you all KNOW how inaccurate those Counts are...especially as
compared to Dukes. :)

Canned Food Grocery Outlet, aka Grocery Outlet has interesting EZ-ups for sale.
They are an 8x8x8 triangle, blue & yellow. Only $40. The store is at the
corner of Monterey Hwy & Tully in San Jose. These would make great Constabulary
Sunshades.

Just a reminder that I will be late to the site friday.

I "hope" to be off work sometime between 5-6pm, and thus at the site
between 6-7pm. It could be late, however, depending on package load and
when I get back from Hawthorne, and I hope I don't have to goto Gabbs
AGAIN this week, it add's 70mi+ to the trip.

Anyway, Michael McShaine will be covering for me.

New forms change starts at Purg. Nothing big really. But non member minors are
now signed in on two sheets again.

My horde (all 4 of us) are planning on going to the Great Western War

so, maybe we could volunteer same shifts. I'll have to decide what

And if there are any Caidan constables on this list, do you happen to

Bethia,

I can't blame you for wanting someone else to do this. Especially
following so close on the heels of Crown in the same area. (Aptos is
just down the road from Hollister/Tres Pinos....and Gilroy <grin>)

Okay, since the local Darkwood Baronial Constable, Kristin, is unable
to do it...I checked with Jared for cooperation on kid duty.

I'll take care of Collegium. I hadn't planned on attending anyway, so
I won't miss out on classes I wasn't going to. And it's pretty close
to home.

I will need the new forms to print out. And who is handling box seed
money? How about money pick ups? I probably won't stay all day. Most
likely I'll close gate when the autocrat says it's okay and then head
on home.

Hugs,
Momstable

What do you mean rice can't be plaid? And no my food is not molesting you, it's
just friendly.

You are welcome.
No worries. My book and I will sit and babysit the box.

Spend some time with your family this weekend.

Hugs,

Momstable

I'm looking for someone to take control of the kingdom
lost and found. I'm moving to a small cramped
apartment and I will not have the space for this. I
will not be taking in anymore lost and found items at
this time. Thank you for understanding.

Joshua J. Hitchcock
       or
Captain Angus Mc Stagger.

We need some kind of general. I'm gonna be too busy looting to be a effective
leader.

This is not a perfect world, and this is not a perfect plan. But I think that's
part of it's charm.
