I just popped over to Wings to see the new line up. What a wonderful selection. I wish everyone the greatest of luck.
I also saw something else that caught my eye. The top seller for June was my book HER TENANT. I want to thank everyone who picked it up and say that I hope you are enjoying reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Good luck to everyone. May you have many many sales and enjoy the thrill. I know for me it never goes away and everytime someone buys my books I say a little prayer that my characters will behave themselves and be asked to return and bring with them their brothers and sisters.

Hey, just wanted to let you know. Loki's Sin is officially available. I'm PUBLISHED!!! Woo-hoo!
I'm thrilled to announce my children's book, An Elephant Named Fiesta, has just been released from Writer's Exchange E-Publishing. I'm very excited and I think the illustrations are beautiful!
"With dialogue that sparkles and lines reminiscent of Bogey and Bacall, the spirit of Vintage Romance and the voice of the 1950s shines through. I thoroughly enjoyed Ms. Okuly’s story." Margaret Mason, Romance Divas

I wanted ask if anyone could help me with a problem with cats? I have a male cat who is part feral but has been neutered. He is still very wild and he is actually frightened of his own shadow even though he can be fierce and if you upset him he will bite your arm off or any part near enough!! but saying that he can be very quite sweet and loving. My sister needs my help to look after her two female cats for maybe up to six months. What is the best way to get the cats to all get along together? I am worried about my cat as he can easily be upset but I really need them all to get along any help would be really appreciated.
I've had several ferals move in with me over time -- it seems the males seek me out. Aside from the fact that cats have their own agendas, ferals add a whole other level to it. MaiTai was more than happy to move in and amenable to anything I wanted to do -- like if I'd open the car door and say we need to go to the vet he's climb right on in.
Mel on the other hand, someone hurt him and I suspect pretty badly and I'm the only one except for the female vet we go to he'll let touch him. He's the sweetest boy but he will not tolerate anyone else really even seeing him.

Where I live they tell us to bring in the new cat(s) and put them into a separate room with food, water, etc. and close the door. The resident king, errrrr, cat, will tend to notice there's a bit of difference going on - smell, closed door, etc. They will start to acquaint through the door. Then after several hours or even a day, the resident kitty goes into the room and the others get to come out, this goes on for awhile.
When I've introduced a new cat to the house I also try to spend time with the new cat and be sure I get their scent on my cloths -- usually a t-shirt. Then I let the resident cats smell the shirt and vica versa.
There is always going to be some spitting and hissing -- they need to figure out their own pecking order and your sister's cats may also change roles -- the alpha may suddenly become the beta in the new environment. That's normal.
Angela Verdenius has between 10-15 cats and I know she takes in ferals and has introduced them to living in a home -- she probably will have some wonderful ideas for socializing cats.
<<<I am worried about my cat as he can easily be upset but I really need them all to get along any help would be really appreciated. >>
Then again he may surprise you and like having a friend. If he goes outdoors I'd try to keep him in during the socialization process. If he's an indoor cat keep an eye on the door so he doesn't decide that he wants to go on his own vacation.

Thanks for that. It doesn't matter. I'm still getting it, and I'll read it off the computer!! LOL Saje has waited a long time for it to be pubished, and I've waited a long time to get my hands on it to read!!
I wish that I could tell you that there is an easy way to introduce them but I haven't found one for cats. I personally would just pick up some Rescue Remedy and add that to the water. Then let them work it out. The good news is that your male should be submissive to the females as in the cat world the females rule. They don't call them Queens for nothing.

That's true.....although with Vinny and Molly Vin was the alpha -- she was a little co-dependent in those days. And with MaiTai she wanted to be the alpha but because of his age and who he was in my life she took second seat. Now, however, she rules and rules with a tight paw!
The other thing that I wanted to mention is something I learned when I studied animal communication with Penelope Smith -- animals see in pictures -- yes, they do learn our words, but they really pick up pictures -- so if you start to visualize around the cats a happy, loving relationship it might help. You may also find, when the girls go home, he looks for them and worries about them so be ready to reassure him that they are fine when that time comes.
Hey I just wanted to tell you about a great company I found!
I applyed for a lower mortgage rate and i only had to
fill in a simple form. This month alone I saved $500 dollars!
check out their site http://www.savecashtoday.net/?a=candi
I hope it helps you as much as it did for me!
I want to wish everyone a happy Fourth of July. As for me, I've been hopping around on crutches after I sprang my ankle very bad after falling off a bucket trying to plug in an appliance and the outlet was too far above me to reach it. LOL. Now, if I can get the swelling down...

The book has been out a while but the google alert I have set up for my name sends me any contact involving my name - apparently someone spotted this review - I'm pleased as punch to know about it. It got a 10 rating of a possible 10 on the website where it was posted.
Review of “Fire At Thunder Ridge” – By Billie A. Williams Publisher: Wings Press Inc ISBN: 1-59088-257-1
“Fire At Thunder Ridge”, is the latest work of American author Billie A. Williams. It is a fast paced mystery set in Summerville County, a remote part of Colorado. Material greed is an integral part of the plot.
Ruby Carpenter was used to her husband arranging her life. He was the one who made all the decisions, affecting their financial future. Now that he was lost to her, she found herself at the mercy of the world.
The new owner of the Thunder Ridge Trailer Park was not the only person affected by her husband’s death. It set off a chain of events that snowballed out of control. Her ignorance of world affairs and a trusting nature would be her downfall.
Sam Levine was a Private Investigator who enjoyed his line of work. He was also fortunate to have a silent benefactor who paid for his services. At this particular point in his career, he was involved in a most complicated riddle.
It started with a mysterious fire in Jo-Ellen’s apartment at the Thunder Ridge Trailer Park. The apartment should have burnt to the ground. Yet, the only real damage done was to Jo-Ellen herself and her dog Barney.
Then there was the rowdy residents of trailer number three. College students who liked to party and get into all sorts of mischief. One of them, known as DJ, was a mystery man of dubious background.
Sam Levine’s best ally was Sheriff Krueger. They worked well as a team but the fire at Thunder Ridge Trailer Park baffled them. Its real cause would shock them and bring Summerville into turmoil.
The lust for power and material wealth is an unfortunate trait of the human condition. At Thunder Ridge Trailer Park, these two aspects were deeply ingrained in several of the residents. This would lead to treachery and misery not often seen in a small town.
I enjoyed the twist and turns in the plot. The small chapters kept the pace of the novel flowing. Never for a moment does the book dull one’s senses.
If you like a fast paced mystery that is well constructed, then this is just the book you are looking for. The author is at the peak of her powers and knows how to capture and entertain her audience.
“Fire At Thunder Ridge will not disappoint readers of this genre. It is a book I thoroughly recommend.

Ouch Tammy - Being short has it's advantages - but a mess of disadvantages too - sorry about your ankle - hope it heals quickly - I'd rather have a break than a sprain - less painful. Anyway - short people never have back aches because they have to do all this stretching and reaching - if that helps ease your pain <G> Get better quick.
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY ONE AND ALL Celebrate with us (good excuse) if you don't live in the good old USA.
Best
Billie Oh thanks for the insight on cats too - very interesting - never knew about them learning in pictures - I know our's loves to watch tv - and occassionally will go right up to the screen to try to "play" with whoever is on.

I had a cat who liked to try and catch the second on on my clock... he never got it VBG.
As for my ankle this morning, at least the swelling has gone done a little.

Gina, you pretty much covered it with your piece. Nice one!
Sometimes the cats will become friends quickly, other times not. I have some of my own cats who sort of glance at the newcomer and go, "Oh, hi. here for awhile then, are you?" and mosey off to do their own thing, which is usually to eat and sleep. Others look totally shocked, one threatens DIRE DEATH and hisses. Abbey (Gina will remember the stray pregant girl? Still got her! LOL And one of her kitties) will turn and slap her daughter as though it's all her fault there's another cat in the house. In general there are no big fights, but if there are, I usually keep the newcomer separate from the one he/she doesn't get on with, and they have their turns in the house and the back room. After awhile, peace usually reigns (if there can be peace in a household of cats ROTFL).

Edge of your seat, pulse racing action as Josh becomes a man in this high-power story that draws you in with each turn of the page, truly mesmerizing. A keeper of a book, one I did not want to put down. We need more books like this. I wish I could have given it a higher rating. This was an incredible adventure worthy of five cups and more. A very happy ending that will make you glad you read the book. Oh yes, Ms. Williams has written a touching story that will pierce your heart in such a good way.
