Who said African American's and other diverse cultures did not enjoy wine? Who said we don't know the difference between Arbor Mist and a good red/spicy Zin? I am personally tired of going to wine events as the minority in the crowd. Don't get me wrong, I do have fun...But...I always wonder where we are hanging out that we are not at these events as well. Why is this joy of wine considered 'uppity?' My goodness, we went crazy over a cosmopolitan and an apple martini because they look cute and over the top with the purple and gold bag and Jay Z's Armadale Vodka. However he flashes Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Champagne and Opus One Cabernet now!
My point with the start of this group is to bring US together and have some fun and take it to another level! No need for me to go on about age restrictions because common sense says you have to be legal! Over 21....
