About Us:

Winchester Mums is an information sharing site for mums (or dads or other carers of little ones) who are based in and around Winchester.

What’s on the site:

The site is an online noticeboard where you exchange messages. For example:

• STUFF: things to buy, sell, swap or give away e.g. children’s clothes, buggies, cots
• BABYSITTING GROUPS: look for other mums who want to set up local swaps
• CHILDCARE: e.g. is there anyone near you that is looking to share a nanny with your family?
• EVENTS; what’s on to distract and entertain?

How to use the noticeboard:

Please use the following format and keep the messages short and to the point. The header should state clearly what is either offered or wanted:

"OFFERED: High chair - Fulflood area
We have been given a brand new high chair that isn't needed as we already own one. Happy to give to a good cause or sell commercially for £20."

"WANTED: Family for Nanny share - St Cross area
We need a Nanny for 3 days a week starting September and would like to share resources with a local family. We have a 2 year old girl who would like to be with another child (or two!). Please do get in touch to discuss possibilities."

This site is not designed to be a money spinner. It’s here to help individuals so please no standard commercial advertising. We can include offers from individuals such as yoga teachers looking to recruit for a local group for example or nannies looking for a family to share but all these will be subject to the group's moderator.
