Dear all, I am sorry to share this very sad news with you. Priscilla
has been found dead. There is no obvious cause, except for bleeding
from the nose.

Priscilla was a major highlight of any visit to Chek Jawa. This
friendly wild boar almost never fails to appear when visitors are
about at Chek Jawa. She would patiently allow people to take pictures
with her and seems to enjoy quietly mingling with the crowds;
foraging on the beach or taking a mud bath. She often naps on the
beach, when she blends in so well among the rocks that she is in
serious danger of being accidently stepped upon.

She will be dearly missed.

Let's appreciate what we have while we have it: Wild boars, Chek
Jawa, our friends and family.
