RE: [Why We Hate Disney] Hi, please let me introduce myself!

These are the only 2 I could find for that water slide at Blizzard Beach.  But here's the link for the Orlando Sentinel Park Attractions Accidents Search Page if you'd like to try another park....

Man dies in Disney water park

ORLANDO, Fla., March 16 (UPI) -- A visitor died of an apparent heart attack after collapsing at Walt Disney World's Blizzard Beach water park in Florida.
A fire department official said the man told his wife he wasn't feeling well while climbing the stairs of the Downhill Double Dipper water ride. When he climbed back down, he fell and went into cardiac arrest, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
The man was pronounced dead at nearby Florida Hospital Celebration Health.
Disney spokeswoman Jacquee Polak said the man had a pre-existing heart condition. The company's Web site says riders on the Double Dipper can "blast down the slopes" at 25 mph in side-by-side speed slides, the newspaper said.

Theme park injuries and illnesses

Five significant injuries and illnesses were reported at Central Florida theme park attractions during the three-month period ending June 30, including a heart attack on Rock ‘n' Roller Coaster.
During the second quarter of 2007, for the first time in five quarters, no fatalities were reported to the Florida Bureau of Fair Ride Inspection by any of the major theme parks. The parks voluntarily report all serious injuries, illnesses or deaths that occurred at attractions each quarter.
At Walt Disney World, a 47-year-old man suffered chest pain and was diagnosed with a heart attack after riding Rock ‘n' Roller Coaster at Disney-MGM Studios on May 19. A 17-year-old boy hit his head on the bottom of the catch pool at Crush ‘n’ Gusher at Typhoon Lagoon on May 2. An 8-year-old girl complained of back pain after riding the Downhill Double Dipper at Blizzard Beach on June 4. And A 57-year-old woman complained of dizziness and weakness on her left side on Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom on June 23.
At Universal Studios, a 79-year-old woman complained of general weakness on the Revenge of the Mummy roller coaster June 7. Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld Orlando, Wet ‘n Wild and Busch Gardens reported no serious incidents.
The incidents included the eighth reported on Space Mountain, the fourth reported on Revenge of the Mummy, the fourth reported on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, the second on Downhill Double Dipper and the first on Crush 'n' Gusher since 2004, according to state records.

Hi, everyone!  I have been wanting to join your group for a long time, and finally did it!
I have SOOOOOOO much to share with you!  I was sentenced to Disney (Epcot) for 8 long years, and was in Orlando for a total of 15.  My experiences may at first glance seem outrageous, but I can tell you from personal experience that a lot of the urban legends and conspiracy theories about Disney are TRUE!!!!
The best way for you to get to know me is to visit my blog page on MySpace, since I've been writing about Disney and my experiences for a little over a year now.  Since I finally escaped from Orlando and the clutches of the Disney cult (satanic cult, yes, that's what I said) I have dedicated my life to exposing the truth.
You can visit my page at http://www.myspace. com/bratcat9 .  If you have ANY questions for me, PLEASE ask.  You will find I am extremely open, and willing to talk.  I also have extensive files on Disney and the  things that go on there, I'm a research nut, always looking for validation, so I'll be more than happy to do research for anyone who doesn't have the time.
Thanks, look forward to getting to know everyone!

No, I left Orlando a year and a half ago, and never looked back. I do know, however, that the rides are unsafe. And if they are laying off back stage cast...
