You all are way beyond anything I do with bread. I have a simple recipe that I
use (with yeast) and never venture to anything else. I would like to try
this... see below... so could you tell me how to do it? I am sure it is in
books and past emails but any help you can give me would be great! How do I do
it with just flour, water, and salt, like you say?

I heard just today that you can take grapes and bury them in flour, refrigerate for a couple of days, and then use that flour to make your own starter....
