Lost and Found Dogs on Whidbey Island, Washington. Often getting the word out to as many people as possible when an animal is missing is crucial to returning the animal safely home. This list lets people post descriptions of lost dogs and also lets people who have sighted or found a stray dog to notify the list. PLEASE BE SPECIFIC ABOUT WHERE THE DOG WAS LAST SEEN. A general area isn't as helpful as cross streets and the town name. (People often go out looking for a dog.)

All members of the list will receive messages posted by other members. Remember, if you have lost your dog, contact and VISIT the WAIF Animal Shelter in Coupeville or the Oak Harbor Animal Shelter on the Seaplane Base.

NOTE: In late 2011 the list was changed so that only members may post a message. This prevents most spam from hitting the list. Attachments in the form of photos are still not allowed. If you have a photo of a lost or found dog, you can email it to the moderator at the address below.
