This group has been created as a networking tool for families who have adopted a child or children through Wide Horizons For Children's Ethiopian Program, or are in the process to adopt through this program.

There are families in all stages of the process, including many who have had their children home with them for several years.

We ask that you keep all conversations confidential and do not forward them to any third parties. Please be respectful of the opinions of others.

We also ask that you respect Ethiopian law and not post any pictures of orphans or links to photo sites containing their pictures. Children are considered orphans until their adoption case passes Ethiopian court, which usually occurs several weeks after their referral. Children's pictures can be posted any time after their new parents receive travel dates from WHFC.

We will rotate our official picture every two weeks. If you would like a picture of your Ethiopian child to be included in our rotation, please add the picture to the "WHFC Pictures For Rotation III" album, located in the Photo section. Please include your name and the name of your child, as well as the month and year of your child's homecoming in the description. Please also submit only one photo of your child, to allow all the children in the group to be featured equally. If you need any assistance with photos, please contact Julie (co-moderator).
