West Somerset Freecycle is part of The Freecycle Network. The purpose of the group is to find new homes for items that you no longer need. It is free to join, and there is one main rule: everything posted must be free.

If you live in Watchet, Williton, Minehead, Porlock, Dulverton or surrounding areas, then West Somerset Freecycle is the group for you.

How does it work? You send an Email to the group saying "I have a fridge I no longer need", and this is posted to everyone in the group. If someone wants your fridge, they Email you directly and you can make arrangements for the person to collect it.

How to join There are several different ways to join, but the easiest way is to send an Email to westsomersetfreecycle-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. You will receive a message from Yahoo groups asking you to confirm your request to join. Click Reply and then Send to reply to this message. You will then receive another message to say that you are now a member, and your Freecycle messages will come automatically into your Inbox.

Freecycle works best when the items listed are very local to you. If you live outside the West Somerset area, click on Freecycle in Southwest England to find a nearer group.
