Saturday, July 11 – Harriman Park – Sloatsburg to Tuxedo. 7 miles at a moderate
pace on varied trails alongside running brooks and with panoramic climbs. Here
we are on the Pine Meadow, Blue Disc and TMI trails crossing the Dater mountain
range and Claudius Smith's Den. Return is from Tuxedo. Meet leader at 10:00 at
the Sloatsburg bus station, or form your own carpool from NWP at 9:00 and meet
leader in Sloatsburg. Leader: Marvin Malater. Please call (718) 376-3608 the day

Sunday, July 12 - Terrace Pond Circular. 10:00-4:00 (NWP). 5 miles, moderate.
We'll start the day by hiking along the ridge above Terrace Pond in New Jersey's
Hewitt State Forest, then return through a shaded valley where we might find the
last of the rhododendrons in bloom. Pace will be adjusted to the weather.
