Hi everybody! Welcome to the Western Ohio Catholic Young Adult Group! Our mission here is pretty simple: to promote fun, fellowship, and faith formation, for Catholic Young Adults in their 20's and 30's, in the mid-western Ohio area. The idea of this website is to help connect you with other Catholic young adults & events happening throughout the area. Our group motto is from Jn 10:10. "I came that they might have life, and have it to the fullest."


So, now for some technical pointers.. I understand there's some confusion about accessing this website.

1. you MUST SIGN UP FOR A YAHOO ID to access this website. That's just how a yahoogroup works. (A Yahoo ID is the same thing as a yahoo e-mail address; it's the SAME username and pw you will use to log onto this website, as you would use to check a yahoo e-mail.) You DON'T have to use that yahoo address as your primary e-mail address, but you DO need to use that username and pw to log into the website. (So, write it down!) :)


2. What can you do/find on this website?

MESSAGES: read past messages from other memebers, or post your own. You can stay updated on the latest details here.

FILES: You can access our flyers, info about activities from other groups, (such as the mud volleyball tourney, or white-water rafting..), etc., basically, any info that ins't posted as an e-mail message.

PHOTOS: view photos from past events, or take some photos and post them here. Appropriate photos only, of course.

LINKS: links to other young adult websites, events, you name it.

DATABASE: you can add your contact info to the database so other members can contact you easily. You can also create a database yourself.. for example, you can throw out an idea and see who's interested in joining? The possibilities are endless.

MEMBERS: See who else is a member. Also, EDIT your own profile.

CALENDAR: view all the upcoming events in calendar form. Click on an event for more details.
