This is a group for anyone that has an interest in the boats designed by Denys Rayner. We do ask that, (apart from general gossip about sailing, or sailing related subjects), that you limit your discussions, to content about the above boats. which are......West Coaster, W22, Westerly Nomad, Westerly Windrush, Westerly 25, and Westerly 30.

A sense of humour would be good, and good natured leg pulling, will be tolerated. Photos are very useful when used to illustrate a point under discussion and we promote members to post them in the Photos section along with any useful information.

All membership applications have to be approved before joining, and new members will have 48 hours from joining to post a message introducing themselves to the group and telling us about their boats and or their reasons for wanting to join. Failure to comply with this request will result in their membership being deleted. This is not the same as being banned, and in fact, if your membership is deleted, you will be welcome to re-apply at any time.

Our Home page photo is of Impudence owned by Nigel Fernig and family. He and his wife sailed her on the north Kent coast (out of Conyer and Ore) and around the Thames Estuary from 1989 until about 1994 when they brought her ashore for restoration. Its been a long slow process but Impudence is due to return to saiing on the Deben later next summer (2012)
