A group of diesel car & truck owners and other environmentally minded people in the Westchester New York area -- and beyond -- that want to promote and increase the-use-of BIODIESEL! By showing a demand for Biodiesel we are taking on National Security and Global Warming on the grass roots level.

Why are we doing this?

Because we spoke to many "diesel filling station" owners before starting this group and found they either knew nothing about BIODIESEL or they knew nothing about people's desire for it. This group is in response to that - we intend to show a demand, now, for BIODIESEL filling stations.

Exactly what are we doing?

1. We are approaching filling stations in the area with flyers (see file section) which encourages them to sell Biodiesel.

2. If and when we succeed, we will work to promote that station and drive business to them. Supporters can patronize these BIODIESEL stations even if they don't drive a diesel!!!

3. Expanding our numbers: The larger the group, the bigger our impact will be. We would like to have a presence at local events. Suggestions? Volunteers?

4. We are seeking press coverage for the effort.

5. We want to encourage people in other areas of the USA and beyond to start similar groups --it is free and very easy to do - we can even help! Tell your friends in other cities -- and if they start one -- post their link here or have them contact us. Other groups have access to all of our flyers, files, etc. for their own group, free of charge.

6. We have t-shirts and bumper stickers for sale.

7. Other ideas are always welcome. Let's do this!

This is an active group and you will be encouraged participate in the effort on your own and report back to us if you don't mind. This is all very informal.
