Also, there's another semi-derelict large house on Priory Road in worse condition than 110. It is probably 62 or thereabouts on the section off Park Avenue North. Anyone know the details of this one?

Hi Ivor,
You are quite right that this house has been empty and boarded up for years. Some time ago I reported it to Cllr Isidoris Diakides, when he was lead member for housing, because the council had asked for information about empty houses which could be used for homes. He said that they already knew about it. Nothing happened so I assume that they don't have the powers to do anything. I will ask Cllr John Bevan, who now has the lead for housing, what the current situation is.

I am sure many people have walked past 110 Priory Road and wondered. It's the massive house next to, what were the loos, on Priory Road opposite the Queen of Tarts. The house is completely derelict and boarded up. My understanding is that the Council has a duty to take possession of any property that is left empty for more than a year. This house has been empty for many years. Anyone know what's going on?
