Welcome Homeschoolers is a support group for homeschooling families in and around San Mateo County. Our purpose is to offer support, information and encouragement to homeschoolers and those interested in homeschooling.

We agree on our love for our children and our commitment to homeschooling. Except for these, our most outstanding characteristic is our diversity. In terms of educational philosophy, we range from families who follow structured curriculums to unschoolers who are very unstructured and others whose philosophies are in between. Some of our members cherish deeply held religious beliefs. Some are not religious at all. Some families are homeschooling one or more children while other children in the same family may be attending school. We practice tolerance and inclusion for all.
