Welcome to West Chester Freecycle - Pennsylvania! Freecycle combines charity, ecology, gift economics, and "junk" – in other words it reduces waste, humanizes (and personalizes) charity, and may just de-center our modern, consumptive throw-away behavior, in short, it's an idea whose time has come.

A SINGLE RULE: everything you post must be FREE (100%) and LEGAL. The rule is that NO $$$ can change hands. It's not *fee*cycling. Whether it's a chair, a chimney, piano, or a PC, it can be posted. Or, maybe you're looking to get something yourself? Respond to the posting directly and you just might get it. It's up to the donor to set up a pickup time for passing on the "treasure."

The concept: Donors e-mail items they have, along with their e-mail addresses. Other visitors browsing the site then contact a donor via e-mail, and the two parties make private arrangements for the actual exchange.
