Discussion of matters relating to sailing and maintaining the Wayfarer sailing dinghy.

Though this is an English language group, please remember that this group has an International audience. For many participants English is not their native language. The "tone" of a posting sometimes can be unintendedly unfriendly. Please take no offence but think: "How would I manage in the other guy’s language"?

This group is made up of amateur sailors helping fellow amateur sailors. The simple fact that someone posts a lot does not make him an expert. Always remember that people are trying to help but may have, on occasion, less knowledge than the poster of the question. Answers can be very helpful but it does not hurt to be critical. And if the answer is not what you expected at least be thankful that your fellow sailor took the time and gave it his best shot.

This is not a group for people to promote goods or services of any kind except Wayfarer-related items such as pre-owned boats, equipment or notification of races and cruises. Postings of an irrelevant nature will lead to membership being terminated without notice.
