This group encompasses Naval Warfare under oars, and Wargaming of said subject. Acceptable topics for discussion are history of Greek, Roman and other Ancient nautical warfare, extending into middle ages all the way up to Lepanto-- and not neccesarily of the Western European tradition. The primary purpose of the group is to discuss primarily oar-based warfare in a wargaming setting-- so board games, computer games (if any) and miniature game rules are all grist for the mill. Fantasy games, such as Man O' War and the like, are not our primary focus, but are certainly acceptable if the discussion focuses on mechanics of ship fighting. I have no problem with the discussion ranging pretty freely; however, some effort must be made to stay on-topic in a general sense; i.e., discussing such and such's new fantasy ship combat rules is okay; politics, religion, personal attacks, etc, are NOT okay. This list will be unmoderated, as I trust you all to act like proper ladies and gentlemen. DON'T MAKE ME COME BACK THERE!
