It has come to my attention that the A-Z program has suddenly made a change
in rules, effective immediately, for 2 reasons: 1. the price of gas. 2.
because of a rumor that the Xenia Walking Club is going inactive & therefore
the X
would not be available.

I am responding to number 2, as president of the Xenia Walking Club. I don't
know where that rumor started, but our club is NOT going inactive, & I would
have appreciated it, if the POC of this program would have contacted me
first to see if the rumor was correct, before making changes. We will continue
to have our YRE's for everyone, so that you can do a walk for the letter X. I
would hope that most people would be purists & want the X stamp & not want to
put in just any walk for the X. We have worked hard to make these walks
available & to arrange a second start at the Holiday Inn, with discounted
rooms,
so that our walks would be more available to walkers.

Please pass the word to your walking friends that the X is still available.
