"Walk 4 Life" WAS an online support group for those who WALK to get or to stay in shape, but it has turned into a BLOG. The intent is to promote a healthier lifestyle by walking, and to offer encouragement when it is hard to put on those sneakers and walk out the front door.
There are FOUR recommendations: 1. F - Focus on your body, and discuss your exercise program with your medical doctor. 2. O - Obtain a good pair of walking shoes by going to a store that specializes in ensuring the proper fit and style. 3. U - Use common sense when starting your walking program by taking baby steps and slowly building up your endurance and strength. 4. R - Relax if you injure yourself and give your body time to heal before you start walking again.
