This is a geographically-based Yahoo group, open exclusively to those inspired by Waldorf Education who reside in the New England area - specifically MA, ME, CT, RI, VT, NH or NY.

You MUST live in one of these states to join our group!

The primary purpose of this group is to serve those in the New England area who are inspired by Waldorf education and want to learn more about its principles and practices, with an emphasis on 'bringing Waldorf home'. We welcome anyone in our region to join our 'Waldorf family', including homeschooling families, parents, educators, childcare providers, organizers, and others.

Our group serves as a vehicle for discussion, announcements, networking, and community-building activities related to Waldorf Education, Waldorf Homeschooling, Anthroposophy, and the work and indications of Rudolf Steiner.

We're an eclectic, fun group, and many local connections have been formed. Come join us!

All membership is moderator-approved. Your request MUST include a) a reason for wanting to join this group; b) your interest in Waldorf, and; b) the New England-area state in which you reside.

Once approved, a personal introduction is REQUIRED by all members within the first two (2) weeks of joining.

This group is maintained by Waldorf Family Network, a grassroots community-based project of Michaelmas Farm, a developing center for cultural renewal, integrating agriculture with education, the arts, and community life, based in rural north central Massachusetts.
