This group is for families or individuals who are living in the Oregon or Southwest Washington area and are in the waiting stage (pre-China travel) of their adoption from China, and families who have been home five years or less from China with their child.

Waiting Families and The First Years Home group meets monthly in the Portland, OR area. We offer education and support to families as they wait and for the first years they are home. We are not affiliated with any particular adoption agency and welcome parents working with any adoption agency to join our group.
