FYI. Looks like we can chalk up another advantage for the caucus system.

Velvet Revolution Election Protection Strike Force 2008 offers $100,000 Reward in New Hampshire Election Challenge!
The primary elections appear to be a smorgasbord of beta tests for methods of voter disenfranchisement. Toasted voter rolls seem to be a popular item, with thousands of Democratic voters in New Mexico being forced to vote on provisional ballots because their party affiliation had been changed on the official lists, privately maintained by ES&S, the biggest electronic voting machine vendor in the world. In California, as many as 94,000 voters were chewing on the Double Bubble Trouble created by what's being called "California's butterfly ballot." And in Georgia, voters waited in line for hours at "WelcomeAllCommunity Center" polling place, where electronic pollbooks (Diebold this time) repeatedly crashed. And then they voted on completely unverifiable, un-recountable Diebold direct record electronic voting machines.
While corporate "news" media bombards the U.S. with
stories about the presidential "horserace," hundreds of thousands of voters have attempted to cast their votes only to find either that they won't be permitted to vote or that their votes will not or may not be counted. Added to the number of voters whose votes are tallied secretly by private corporations and we have millions of voters nationwide who have no basis for confidence that their votes have been counted or that the announced results represent the will of the voters.
Velvet Revolution and our colleagues in the Voting Rights/Election Integrity movement are hard at work documenting and working to prevent and alleviate problems such as those reported in the last two weeks at Velvet Revolution co-founder's site, The BRAD BLOG, on problems in the primary elections in California, Georgia, Louisiana, New Jersey, New Mexico as well as the
Washington State Republican Caucus. Headlines linking to these stories are below.
Velvet Revolution has also worked behind the scenes to support the two candidates challenging the election results in New Hampshire: Democrat Dennis Kucinich and Republican Albert Howard. The BRAD BLOG's New Hampshire Primary Concerns '08 page indexes our stories on the New Hampshire "recount." Don't miss the video from BlackBoxVot ing.org of the remarkably shoddy chain of custody for NH ballots. The memory cards from the Diebold optical scan machines that took 80% of New Hampshire's votes, required to be retained for 22 months after a federal election, have completely vanished.
