Washington State Internet Quilters (WASIQ) is a discussion list devoted to quilters that have an affiliation with Washington State(past, present or future Washingtonians). Quilters of all levels of experience are encouraged to join from novice to expert.

List members are encouraged to share ideas, participate in exchanges, create new friendships, and arrange monthly (or more/less often) get-togethers at various quilt shows and shops around the state. Two ongoing exchanges include WASIQ's Birthday Exchange and Secret Friendship Quilters Exchange (much like secret pals).

While we are not a strict to topic list, members do appreciate at least 80% of the postings to be quilt related. Along with quilting topics, we also enjoy discussing nearly anything that may be heard during a quilting bee (which can include topics on food, family, friends or just plain fun!).
