Do you support the Canadian tar sands pipeline - Keystone XL Pipeline - through the United States, from north of the Canadian border all the way south to Houston, and then possibly to the Gulf of Mexico, passing through over a thousand miles of environmentally sensitive U.S. lands? If not, and if you haven't let Obama know, please do so at once: http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact

Consumer Energy Alliance may be old news to some or most of you, but I just heard about it.
A Google search for "Consumer Energy Alliance" (CEA) thru the first 5 Google pages of links to this organization and/or its supporters included a handful of negative links out of the 50.
Why was I looking? I had just responded to an automated call. The report immediately below is not from me, but is identical to my experience today.
So of course I participated. Do I think gas prices are too high? Why, yes I do. Do I think unemployment is too high? Of course I do. Then there was a long spiel about how this pipeline will create thousands of jobs in the U.S. and not too much on lowering gas prices. Apparently, the government is accepting comments and petitions regarding the permitting of this pipeline. Then the people behind Consumer Energy Alliance wanted to know if they could add me to their petition. A firm NO on that. Am I over 50 years old? Darn it, I am. Am I male? Why, no, I am not. And that was the end of the survey.
I just wanted to let you know that this survey was going on. We know they have the money and the astro turf groups to try to sway public opinion. Now, I am giving you the questions in advance so good luck on the quiz.
