This network has been created to support the homeschooling community of Pierce, St Croix, and Dunn counties of Western Wisconsin, along the I-94 corridor from Hudson to Menomonie. We welcome homeschoolers in other nearby counties to join us, as well as parents in our area who are schooling at home thru public charter schools, and parents who are still exploring homeschooling as an option for their family.

This group is a place where parents can connect with other homeschooling families in our area. This is a place where we can ask questions, compare notes, share resources, and generally "socialize" with other homeschool parents. Please post about homeschool-related events you know of in our community or within driving distance.

Members are encouraged to ask each other about different homeschooling approaches, curriculum, and suggestions for materials with or without a religious focus. If you are, for example, looking for secular resources, please say so when you ask for suggestions. If you are, for example, recommending a Christian-focused resource, please state that it is such when you list it.

Our homeschool community is diverse - but we are tied by our common belief that homeschooling is a viable educational option, a worthwhile endeavor, and a wonderful opportunity for families to learn and grow together. Please be respectful of all beliefs, philosophies, and personal points of view of other members.
