This page is dedicated to the election of Colin D. Bennett to the Connecticut Legislature.

Colin is the first Green Party Candidate to run for State Senate in the 33rd District. He is running on a platform of economic development environmental protection, and education.
His community service includes the following: member of the Westbrook Forest Commission, Marine Science Technician in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, founder and president of the Great Land Conservation Trust, Inc., a former volunteer with the Westbrook Fire Department, a former teacher at Saint Mary's School in New London, and the former advisor for the Saint Bernard High School Environmental Club in Uncasville. Colin has received training from many environmental groups including SEAC, the SSC, and The Climate Campaign
If elected Colin promises to do his best to ensure that every person in the 33rd District has a voice, not every corporation or special interest group.
