How Do We Build More Consistent Support for
Volunteer-Based Tutoring and/or Mentoring Programs
in all parts of Chicago, or Detroit or New York?

Every May and November since 1994 the Tutor/Mentor Connection has
hosted a conference in Chicago, intended to draw leaders and volunteers together
to share strategies, network, and build relationships that lead to more and
better tutor/mentor programs in neighborhoods where they are most needed.
The next conference will be May 29 and 30, in Chicago.
You can see workshop descriptions at
http://www.tutormentorconference.org/descriptions.asp
Can you take on the networking role described in this graphic, to encourage people
in your own network to attend the conference, or to connect with us in on-line
forums? I describe this networking role in the blog at
http://tutormentor.blogspot.com
If each of us can attract just 2 or 3 people to participate in this process,
that can mean more participation in the May conference, and more
volunteers and donations to support tutor/mentor
programs in Chicago, and in the city where you live or work.
