Recruiting volunteers and converting them into effective tutors, mentors and program leaders is a challenge for every volunteer-based tutor/mentor program. This eGroup is the meeting place for leaders who are willing to work together, share ideas and provide leadership to collaborative volunteer recruitment activities like the annual Chicagoland August/September Back-to-School Tutor/Mentor Volunteer Recruitment Campaign. While the focus of this group is on the Chicago campaign, we hope that leaders from other communities in America will join this group and use this as a forum for duplicating these actions in their own area.
