The Volkssport Issues list exists to discuss policy and politics of volkssport
associations.
Messages must not insult any person or defame any person or group. As the list
is not moderated, anyone writing such a message will be personally responsible
for any legal actions stemming from such message. Wendy Bumgardner, the American
Volkssport Association, the IVV, and other subscribers are not responsible for
the content of messages other than those they personally write.
Uncivil behavior or tone of messages will be cause to be unsubscribed.
Sending private messages to others attacking them for topics they bring up on
Volkssport Issues will also result in you being unsubscribed.
To stay within civil behavior, write about what YOU think should be done, give
examples of what YOUR club has done or point to other clubs who you think are
GOOD examples.
Do not point out what other clubs have done wrong, rather point to what is GOOD
behavior or what you think should be done to encourage/require good behavior.
Never attack a person, avoid mentioning anyone by name or position unless it is
in a positive example.
When joking, use smileys such as :) or hehehehehehehehe since humor is often
hard to distinguish in print and may be taken the wrong way by those who are
having a bad day :)
Regards,
Wendy Bumgardner
