ME: I'll make a guess why they don't. Someone there has said to
someone else, "The TRANSFORMERS fans will buy this even if there are
no special features on it." That is, there's some perception that it
will not raise sales enough to justify the expense.

They may not be wrong about this, though WB does seem to be having
some success with doing extra stuff for their cartoon releases. This
Tuesday, I'm doing an on-camera interview for a forthcoming release of
YOGI BEAR cartoons. It will include a documentary on Daws Butler and
among the other interviewees will be Nancy Cartwright, Corey Burton,
Charlie Adler and Tom Kenny.

ME: The funny thing about that is that if they wanted to contact a
number of the TRANSFORMERS voice actors -- like Welker, Gregg Berger,
Neil Ross, Michael Bell, etc. -- all Rhino would have to do is go
downstairs. The Rhino offices are in the same building as those guys'
agents.
