The program administrators set this site up so that fellow amateurs throughout the world can receive up to date information relevant to this program.

The program is in two parts.... the contest and the award.

The next yearly contest will be held June 12th, 2010 commencing at 06.00utc and ending on June 13th, 2010 at 06.00utc

Throughout the year there are many amateurs who travel throughout Australia and we would like them to inform the rest of us of possible shires they may activate.

As a guideline the following frequencies are recommended to be used to give the multitude a chance to work those rare ones:
80m........ 3.580 ssb and 3.530 cw
40m........ 7.080 ssb and 7.030 cw
20m........ 14.180 ssb and 14.030 cw
15m........ 21.180 ssb and 21.030 cw
10m........ 28.380 ssb and 28.030 cw

Nets....... nil at this time but we are happy to have them start ( volunteers required )

We would be very pleased if VK operators could in fact be familiar with their shire and look at the possibility of printing it on their qsl card.

This whole program will only be as good as we all make it so please try to promote it where possible.
