Virtual Interchange Ops is one part of two groups that move rail traffic from one model railroad to another through the exchange of Way Bills, Train orders etc.

MRICC Virtual Interchange Ops 1: This is the communications arm of the group. Here is where you get answers to questions (but ya gotta ask), discuss improving the system, introductions to the actual interchange group, etc (note that there is no complaint department :) ).

MRICC Virtual Interchange Ops 2: (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MRICC/) This group is where the actual interchange business takes place through the MRICF program. Here you can also place your system map, list interchanges, industries for commerce, and place car orders, offer your railroad customer's products, work out routing via interchanges, etc. For these reasons it is imperative that you become a member of this group to enjoy the MRICF "services"

Virtual Interchange allows your railroad to exchange traffic with other model railroaders via the internet. Incorporate this system with your car cards and waybills, add to your switchlists, or even your computer based operations method. Virtual Interchange is open to any scale, even armchair and MSTS model railroaders.
