This group is for collectors and users of manual-focus single lens reflex film cameras made from 1963-1990. This will include Canon,Minolta,Konica,Fujica,Nikon,
Olympus,Pentax,Yashica,Argus,Chinon,Cosina,Ricoh,Mamiya,etc.
Many people belong to a group that specializes in just
1 of these manufacturers. But I think there are more folks like me who enjoy many of these great SLRs and would like
a forum to discuss all of them including their
similarities and differences. Enjoy!
As of 03/07/09 the group has voted to allow limited discussion on the use of vintage lenses on digital SLR's.

Our home page photo "Derelict Boom truck" was the winning photo from our April "Something made of metal"contest, taken by Roy Litteton with his Minolta MCII w/ 50mm f1.7 Rokkor-X lens. He used ISO 400 B&W CN film.

Voting is open for our May themes. Please vote. Voting ends June15.

Our themes for June are:
1) "Any image taken with a normal lens"
2) "shooting upwards/ low perspective"
3) "animal or amimals" (please no dead ones)
4) "something funny or strange"

The competition will run to June 30.
