Jeff, I would guess from that price that the OEM part is a different
material than the 3ed party parts store item. The shop cost is
somewhat typical. I would expect the 3ed party part would not last as
long but who needs a 300K villager anyway??

That's how it goes with car repairs, some are worse than others. I
try to do as much as I can so hopefully it all averages out a bit.
