This group aims to catalog the many thousands of maverick video game tokens that are not listed in 1984 Alpert and Smith’s catalog “Video Arcade, Pinball, Slot Machine and Other Amusement Tokens of North America, First Edition” and the later supplement. You can view the members' contributions to updated state catalogs under the "Files" category of this group.

Members are asked to provide descriptions and pictures of identified and maverick tokens and sorted into category by individual state or province. Identification should include town and state location as well as size and composition. If multiple locations or specific street addresses are known, that should also be provided.

Certainty of attribution is requested by the following classes.
1) Mavericks purchased by you or someone you trust at that particular business location. Also, tokens positively identified on the token by city, state, phone number, zip code or web site.
2) Mavericks identified in phone books or business directories. Also, mavericks identified by internet search engines.
3) Strong suspicion that a token should be located in that town for any number of reasons.
4) No idea as to location. Classic maverick.
