This is a community group for WOMEN members of Veterans For Peace. It is open to all women veteran members and women associate members. It is intended to expand our levels of communication and connection as we grow our womens' voices in our organization.

It is intended that we use this list to discuss topics and share information concerning women veterans, servicemembers or military family members, women affected by the military specifically, and other related topics. PTSD, MST, Sexism, etc.

Please only use the list for issues pertinent to women vets and family members, not unrelated items.

Upcoming VFP Newsletters are open to articles and other writing by, about, and for women. Please send newsletter items to the national office.

Also the next VFP Convention is... Portland, Oregon in Aug, 2011, what is our voice here? Please send suggestions for speakers or topics specific to our concerns. We are planning a whole track of sessions on Gender and Militarism but in order to do so, some of you must step forward.

You're invited to interact, what would you like to create here - as women veterans working for peace? This is a forum for discussion on topic as stated above. You are invited to use your delete key whenever you wish.

It is requested that this be a safe space for sharing. Our community can create that, and it needs some work right now. How can we provide this for our members?
