VEP CA is located in the southern part of San Jose, CA, nestled in between Almaden Valley, Blossom Valley, and Communications Hill. Our traditional boundaries are roughly Hwy 85, Hwy 87, Snell Av., and Capitol Expw. More precisely, the boundary line runs east along the north side of Hwy 85 from Hwy 87 to the eastern edge of the Lester property, then north to Cynoweth Av., then east to Snell Av., then north to Capitol Expw, then west to where the old Lick spur of the Southern Pacific Railroad used to be, then southwest along the Lick spur to Branham Lane, then west along Branham to Hwy 87, then south along the eastern edge of Hwy 87 to Hwy 85. VEP is one of the oldest continuously operating "grass roots" all volunteer neighborhood organizations in Santa Clara County. VEP was formed in 1969.
