The Veneta Home Education Network is focused on building a strong Homeschool community throughout West Lane County, Oregon - including but not limited to the communities of West Eugene, Veneta, Elmira, Crow, Junction City and all surrounding areas. VHEN's main purpose is to promote and support the homeschooling family.

Members should feel free to post information on classes and activities of interest to homeschool families. Members are also encouraged to host an activity. This can be as simple as a play date at the park to a more elaborate field trip. Only members have access to the membership directory and member only activities. A newsletter listing activities open to all homeschoolers as well as other information is available at the Fern Ridge Library.

This group welcomes all homeschooling families regardless of race, religion or homeschooling style.

This group is community-based. If you want to see something happen - make it happen.
