THE GROUP: We know the Bay Area already has its fair share of vegetarian friendly groups, but we felt that a lot of these groups are dominated by older age groups, families, or married couples. We felt the need for a younger social group, where vegetarians and vegans can meet others in their own age group, single or not, for friends or more.
The target age range in this group is mid twenties to late thirties, but we won't turn anyone away who feels they would like to join.

Finally, the level of activity in this group depends on its members!! Events can be suggested and initiated by any of the group members (you are highly encouraged to do so in fact), not just the moderators of the group. It does not have to be extravagant, a brunch, movie, dinner, just drinks, are all easy to organize and fun to attend. Hiking and potlucks require somewhat more organizational energy, but are also very rewarding, so it's up to you!
