We're a new vegetarian/vegan dining group in Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA.

We're starting simple, by just getting together at different local restaurants (or homes) monthly; mostly for fun, as well as support and inspiration toward veg'ism.

Join us First Tuesdays monthly, or as otherwise announced here & by group email, generally at 6:00 pm.

No, you don't have to be a practicing vegetarian; just have an interest, and be willing to order vegetarian or vegan meals while we're together. Yes, we have "vegetarians-in-training" & "vegetarians since the last 30 minutes." Not to mention vegetarians & vegans of many years' standing, and for all different reasons.

The only cost is your own meal. We'll arrange for separate checks & gratuity (tip) will usually be added.

Occasionally, we may ask for small donations just to help offset the cost of photocopying flyers, paid ads, or in appreciation of a speaker, etc.

Our first dinner was held Tuesday, Dec. 13th, 2005 at S.I. Italian Bistro, and it was really fun & successful, with 23 people attending! --Yet we'd only JUST BEGUN getting the word out.

We usually have over 20 people each dinner.

The only catch is:

You MUST make a reservation before EVERY RESTAURANT DINNER. Preferably at least two full days beforehand, or check with us. The earlier the better, just so we can give a headcount to the restaurant.
