The idea behind this is it's a group for parents who feel they are alternative in their family structure. This is open to self-identification but some ideas are: gay/lesbian parents, polyamorous parents, or any sub-culture where you feel there is a difference between you and the average parent. The only thing we ask is for open-mindedness and celebration of diversity.

The aim will be to have fun together and support one another in building a sense of community and connection. Ideally I'd love to have potlucks, go camping, family dances, that kind of thing.
