Our local Freecycle™ group is open to all who want to "recycle" something rather than throw it away. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano or an old door, feel free to post it. Freecycle is about keeping things out of the landfill.

FREECYCLE(TM) RULES & ETIQUETTE
If your message doesn't follow the rules, it will be deleted.

1) KEEP IT FREE (that means no money-don't ask, don't offer), LEGAL & APPROPRIATE FOR ALL AGES. If a child can’t use it, it doesn't belong on this site. No medicines, vitamins or creams.

2) SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR POSTS. Only these five headers may be used.

PROMISED: bed

3) POSTING RESTRICTIONS-
TWO WEEK wait requirement to repost OFFER messages
FOUR WEEK wait requirement to repost WANTED items. Your OFFERS should outnumber your WANTED posts. Wanted posts will only be approved on Wednesdays (Wanted Wednesdays) One wanted post per member email per week but you may put as many items in the post as you wish.

4) NO POLITICS, NO SPAM, NO MONEY, NO PERSONAL ATTACKS/RUDENESS. You will be removed immediately.

5)YOU CAN USE FREECYCLE TO FIND NEW HOMES FOR PETS But keep it legal & be lovingly careful.

6) NO BUYING, TRADING, BORROWING OR SALES PLEASE. Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/solanoyardsale/ to trade and sell locally.

7) RESPONSES GO ONLY TO OFFERER NOT ON THE BOARD.

8) PICK UP. It's up to you who you want to choose. If you are going to put it out on the curb for pick up, please say so in your posting so there's no confusion.

9) No WANTED posts for expensive luxury items like cars, boats, PS3, etc. you are welcome to post offers for these items.
