Purpose: To provide activities for intergenerational networking for church members and friends with a focus on family and child participation.

This group is for enabling communication and coordination of events and activities; to share ideas (however nebulous); .....and who knows (it's a new and growing community). Currently the moderators are Jenni Papp and Conni Cook.

The topics should be limited to Church Family Network planning business. Personal conversations should be taken off list to personal emails. Brainstorming is encouraged. Maybe your idea fits with another's plans.

Please remember that this is the work of our religious community and that we are often passionate due to our love for it. These discussions are "public" and meant for constructive exchanges. Considerate, polite behaviour that is guided by our principles and desire to remain in right relationship with each other is expected.

Membership occurs when a person is "invited" through an email by the group moderator(s) or a person requests to join and then is approved by the moderator(s). The reason for keeping the group semi-private this way is to
maintain control of the membership to friends and members of the UU Church of Akron, Ohio.

A member can choose to get an email every time another member posts or may choose to get a daily digest of messages in their email or may just go to the group when they are interested in seeing what is going on. Daily digests are suggested for timely communication.
