Dear Uttorshuri Members,

Welcome aboard. Today is the 51^st anniversary of our language movement, the day when the Bangali nation stood up united and sacrificed their lives for their language. It’s an incident that all Bangla speaking people of the world take pride in; it’s a bond that binds all Bangali together irrespective of their religion, gender and national origin. We are proud of this day which is also now recognized as the International Mother Tongue Day. Now it is the responsibility of us, the uttorshuri of those brave Bangalis to work together for the enrichment of our language and culture.

Let this spirit of Ekushe be alive forever.
