Nice work ... And thanks for getting the final totals posted ...
Got to work on my program for next year.
And I am mailing the rule questions back in the morning.
Voted to keep things the way they are except to allow balanced 6OHM arms in the Sportsman .. Could work in the MTs-XTs too for that matter but it wasn't on the sheet.
Some arms will be closer than others so a little tweaking before they
are installed is easy to do. I use a razor blade style balancer I
made with a block of wood and two utility knife blades ... Not high precision but
it works OK .

Forgot, could someone try to open up some files under 2009 race results and let Jayson know if they open? They work for me. He is working on a new website for UTAC and needs the files for class. Just go to files and you will see 2009 race results. Let him know, he is member js_ hanks. Thanks

Hey Gang, The track is ready to run same track design for the Hanks 50 as every
year, 40' 6" medium size oval with 30" between turns using 9"12"15" curves. Got
1st place trophies for each class and will through in some cash for the feature
cars. Got 44 new cars in at ProRail and some parts come check em out pretty cool
stuff! Open at 3:00pm Later!! Scott
John to UTAC
Pictures of the Busscher 50 are posted, I put them in with the 2008 photos to
save space.
Incidentally, Ed and Eric were last years winners of this race
John Busscher hear: I probably won't make the race because of a previous
engagement, Shriners Bass Tourney on Rend Lk. I have to be on the water by 4:30
am to check in. I just don't think I can stay up all night racing and fish all
the next day.
Sounds like Hanging Rock Speedway is putting on a heck of a show, I will
certanly miss competition on the massive oval. Just don't let Murder Inc take
everyting, someone give em some competition!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got the track set up for the 7th Annual Busscher 50. The Busscher track is the narrowest of all UTAC tracks we run on ever year, having just one 9" straight in between the turns. The track is 41ft on the inside lane. ProRail will have some great deals on LifeLike T-Chassis cars tomorrow as we try to move some of those with bodies that no longer qualify for the Late Model class including #4 Kodak Chevy $13, #22 Cat Dodge $13, #10 Valvoline Pontiac $13 #32 Tide Pontiac $13, #24 Dupont, #44 Kelloggs Twinpak $20 all chassis except #4 have the newer red arm, and the #24 & #44 are still eligible for LM this year, all the bodies will race in the Challenge class. Also have the new SG+ grey chassis in stock.

A Big Thanks to all for making this years Mid Season Championships a huge
success. We had a record setting turn out for the Sportsman Special 300 and
another big field of cars for the Trophy Race.
91 cars and 64 cars respectively, for a total of 155 entries.
UTAC paid out over $327.00 in cash winnings at the two events, along with a
first place trophy for each class. This year marked the 20th running of the Mid
Season Championships and it was the 25th Trophy Race.
Hope everyone enjoyed the races and look forward to another big event next year,
Thanks Again, Scott

The MidSeason Championships kicked off last Sunday with the Sportsman Special
300 and Ed Holtz walked away with all 3 trophies in the marathon event.
A record crowd showed up at ProRail Speedway with 16 drivers and 91 cars. Ed
won the Sportsman and Modified features from lane 5 and the Late Model Sportsman
race from lane 6.
Ed is not the first to achieve this feat as Gary Boyd also won all 3 races in
2007.
The wins moved Ed into first place in both the Driver and Owner Point Standings
in the 3 classes.
Hopefully John will have some photos posted soon. The Race Results, Point
Standings and Driver Standings can been seen in the Files section.
Thanks to all who participated in this historic UTAC event.
Good to hear from ya, hopefully Zac will get back into racing if you do. Scott.
