Just wanted to pass along this info, as it may have contribued to the problem
in your alley.

On Wednesday evening, about 7 p.m., I was in my alley (between Wallach Place
and T, 13th-14th), when I witnessed 3 teenage boys on bikes upending trash
cans from one end of the block to the other. They were African-Americans, all
about age 15, who joined up with a large group of friends hanging out in front
of the 7-11 at 12th & U. I called 311, as did another neighbor, but I
seriously doubt the police ever caught up with the kids. Residents were stuck
cleaning up the mess.
