I woke up this morning to find garbage all over the alley between 13
Street and 12 Place after the recycling pick up took place. The
recycling crew pushed over garbage cans in the efforts to remove the
recyling containers. There was waste all over the alley and garbage
cans (including my own) were AGAIN thrown over the fences of neighbors.
I picked up of the refuse that was just picked over by the neighborhood
cat.
Apparently the meeting that was held a few weeks back did not help to
change the behaviors of the recycling pick-up crews. I took several
pictures of the mess that they left which always ends up making its way
toward Florida Avenue. They were even kind enough to leave several
recycling bins directly on my front step.
I believe that city officials should wake up early on one of the pick
up days and see first hand what occurs.
