The purpose of the list is to give collectors a forum to exchange information on modern United States stamps and related material. Reports on new varieties and printings, locations of various items, offers to buy, sell, and trade at cost are welcome.

All offers to sell items at a premium, especially without the inclusion of pertinent information as to location, quantity, etc., are specifically discouraged.

Any discussion casting aspersions or name calling relating to personalities, dealers, the APS is specifically discouraged. The focus of this group is 'modern' United States stamps, but there can be some latitude in that area. The moderator reserves the right to edit or reject any discussion he deems 'out of bounds'.

Any person who has an interest in modern United States stamps is invited to membership in the group. A Yahoo profile, which contains your real name is necessary. Participation in discussions is encouraged, but not necessary. All messages must be signed with a name that establishes who the person writing the message is.
